I think I wasted my money.
In 5 months only got figure print problem.
Contacted service center also but again the same problem.
1. Fingureprint not responding, please restart
2.Fingure print application is not there in applications.
3. Done every thing that I can do...

Fed up , can any one help

Have you cleaned it recently using hand sanitizer?

I had a Nokia 8.1 previously. One time I poured a big lump of gel type sanitizer on the phone's back(over fingerprint sensor also) and cleaned it to my heart's content. Next day morning It gave up on me. 😅

I think excessive alcohol can damage the surface of the sensor. I am not sure.

I clean my fingerprint sensor with alcohol daily but no problem. At least I've poured sanitizer 200+ times on my fingerprint sensor. Still good 😊
