Fingerprint on my samsung A15 not working

Hi guys just bought my samsung A15 and the fingerprint si not working anymore, I've tried removing the screen protector and still it's not functioning, what could be the problem and how could I solve it

A15 fingerprint is side mounted( power on button is wherethe fingerprint is), i don't think the screen protecter was cause of that

Re-register Fingerprints
Delete the existing fingerprint records:Settings > Security and privacy > Fingerprints.
Re-register your fingerprints:
Ensure your fingers and the sensor are clean and dry.
Try registering multiple angles of the same finger.

I've tried that bro and when I try re-registering it it only goes to 16% and stops

Yes ,make sure all the sides of your thumb are covered in the fingerprint sensor

If it stops it means you're repeating the same area of your thumb that have been already sensed

If doesn’t work again try this

1. Reset system settings to their default (this won't delete your data):
Settings > General management > Reset > Reset settings. And try again

Can you try the above solutions, i suspect you're not doing it correctly cause i use A15 too
