Galaxy AHi all. I am looking to buy a samsung A55 which seems like a good mid range phone. However I note that people are complaining online about its fingerprint sensor not working correctly.
Is there any reason to be concerned about this or may it be user error.
Does Samsung perhaps have official comments on this issue?
Any help will be appreciated.
PS The cheaper S range phones are unfortunately out of my price range.

Galaxy ASo I upgraded from a Galaxy S10 (ultrasonic fingerprint scanner) to an A55 (optical fingerprint scanner) about a month ago and honestly I can't tell a difference between the two in terms of accuracy and speed.
It works flawlessly on my A55, and honestly, it's of no cause for concern. I haven't used a screen protector on my phone, so perhaps those who have may have experienced issues, but other than that, it's solid and reliable.
Hope this helps with your purchase!

Galaxy APerhaps it's because I have not installed a screen protector, but I sow an option in the settings for enhancing the sensitivity of the screen for when you have a screen protector added.
