How do register my finger print.?

For Samsung Phones running on android 9, you can register your fingerprint in following steps.
1. GO TO SETTINGS
2. CLICK ON BIOMETRICS & SECURITY
3. CLICK ON FONGERPRINT
4. SET PASSWORD/ PIN / PATTERN
5.REGISTER YOUR FINGERPRINTS
6. DONE.

Am a A50 user. After nov update i am unable to register my finger.That's y am ask that question.

peal off your screen guard and try it

Samsung did it on purpose , if use low quality screengaurds it makes anyone to unlock your phone so remove it. and thats the reason Samsung gave the update which is causing error while registering fingerprint with screen protector

yes, as Samsung stated , first thing you should do if you are facing fingerprint issues, you should remove screen protector and try , even i did the same and it worked

screen protectors which are in good quality are not having problem , only low grade and mixture of silicon material in screen protector are not suitable for Samsung devices so , you should check the screen protector placing on the display and try registering fingerprint if it works then you can get it, for better assistance visit Samsung store and buy the protectors from there.
