I have said this before, I am saying it again; the toggle to enable/desable fast charging needs to be in quick settings panel (like Wifi Calling, Dark Mode, AOD, Dolby Atmos)
All the flagship or high end smartphones use AI (or similer intelligence) to charge the battery intelligently overnight. It charges upto 70-80% and stop until the morning when it charges the rest. Big battery phones are making smart charger or intelligent charging IC in the phone. Mid-range phones don't have these features.
Samsung gave the option to turn on or off fast charging in the settings (Galaxy A31) but it's few steps to get there. It needs to be quickly reachable. Because fast charging over long time is really harmful for the battery.
Agreed. Indeed Samsung should implement what Asus is implementing "Smart Battery and Charging"
Imagine this: "You put your phone on charge and set the timer at 6 AM the next morning, that's the time by when your phone will intelligently get charged"
1. Phone's battery life would increase greatly 2. Custom time for full charge is just great.
