Galaxy ADear Samsung Member,
Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!
As per your query, we want to inform you that the "Enhanced Data Protection" is a Samsung security feature that encrypts and stores your personal information in Samsung Cloud, allowing you to backup and restore your data using a recovery code. This code is generated once during setup and must be recorded for data retrieval.
Generating a recovery code: ●The recovery code is a 28-character code that can recover your end-to-end encrypted data if all your user devices are unavailable.
● You cannot view the recovery code again after it's generated, so it's crucial to record and store it securely.
● If you lose both the device with the ‘Enhanced Data Protection’ feature and the recovery code, you will not be able to access your end-to-end encrypted data.
Warm Regards,
Samsung Customer Support
