Hi,

I bought the Galaxy A70s this week and updated it to One UI 2.5. But when I was searching for them to set up, I couldn't find the Edge Panels and Edge Lighting in the settings. Also, there's no option to configure Advanced Messaging in the 'Messages' app. My brother's M31 supports 'Advanced Messaging'.

Am I missing something here? Were all these features removed in the One UI 2.5 update? I tried searching for an answer on the Internet, but couldn't find any. Seeking help of other Galaxy A70s owners in the forum. Kindly help.

All those features if not present, may or may not come to your mobile.

It completely depends on Samsung. No matter how much you request or beg here.

That's it! Even the A70s is supposed to have both those features, but they're missing. I'm wondering if Samsung removed them purposely or is it some kind of a mistake.

'Advanced Messaging' is Samsung's implementation of RCS (Rich Communication Service). With this service we can share images, videos, documents and location through the SMS app. It is supposed to work like iMessage does on iOS. Check the settings in your Samsung Messaging app.

If you have an option called 'Chat Settings', then you can use the advanced messaging features.

Let me know if you have it.
