Does internet gets disconnected when phone is in sleep mode ?

I often use WhatsApp web on my desktop. But for that I need to keep my phone on charging or keep the screen on. If screen is turned off and phone is not charging, I often get disconnected from WhatsApp web.

How to solve this ?

I am using Samsung A51

It's because of Samsung Max. 

Turn off Battery Optimisation for Samsung Max.

Yes. Internet gets disconnected under two conditions:
1. Power saving mode is enabled.
2. Background internet usage is not enabled for particular application.

1. Power saving mode is Off
2. Background internet usage is enabled (even when in data saver mode, i have allowed it to use background data)

Data is on

No... The problem is I often gets disconnected ... After around 5-10 min after phone's screen is off, in my desktop I see message that my phone is not connected to internet
