Galaxy A1. Accidental Activation of Accessibility Features
Samsung has a feature called "Mouse Pointer" or "Assistant Menu" under Accessibility, which can show a cursor on the screen.
Check this:
1. Go to Settings → Accessibility
2. Tap on Interaction and dexterity
3. Disable Assistant Menu (if it's enabled)
4. Also, turn off Universal switch or any other interaction tools
2. Developer Options Settings
If Developer Options are enabled, there’s a setting that shows pointer location or visual touches.
Check this:
1. Go to Settings → Developer Options (search it if not directly visible)
2. Disable Show pointer location and Show taps
3. One Handed Mode or Gesture Bug
Some users on forums have reported similar bugs due to gesture navigation or one-handed mode.
Try disabling One-handed mode under Settings > Advanced features
If you're using Gesture Navigation, try switching to Button navigation temporarily to test
4. Check for System Updates
Samsung frequently releases minor patches after major version upgrades.
Go to Settings > Software update > Download and install
5. Safe Mode Test
Boot your phone into Safe Mode to rule out third-party apps:
Press and hold the power button → Long tap on Power off → Tap Safe Mode
Observe if the cursor still appears.
If it doesn’t: a third-party app is likely the cause.
6. Clear Cache Partition
Sometimes leftover files from previous updates can cause UI glitches.
Power off the phone → Press Volume Up + Power together until Samsung logo appears
Use volume buttons to navigate to Wipe cache partition and confirm with the power button
Restart the phone

🚩 If the issue continues:
Report the bug via the Samsung Members app:
Open Samsung Members > Support > Error Reports
Include detailed description and mention it's happening after the One UI 7 update.

Galaxy ADear Samsung Member,
Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!
As per your query, we want to inform you that On Android 15 (V OS), a mouse cursor may briefly appear on the screen when a device with mouse properties (e.g., car smart keys, wearable watches like Redmi, Huawei, Cashwalk, Galaxy Watch) is connected.
This occurs because the system displays the cursor to indicate the connection of such devices.
Software updates are planned to improve this user experience, and keeping the device’s SW version up to date is recommended.
Warm Regards,
Samsung Customer Support
