Cpu usage time More than Total Usage Time. Application X.

The CPU usage is more than the amount it should be while you were using it. This is because X was still running in the background all this time. It needs to run in the background so that it can send you notifications about new posts or stuff. So, it still runs behind the scenes even after you 'closed' the app.

The total usage statistic is wrong, cuz 17+6=23, not 24

I keep Data saving on for X , so syncing is off. I use X on Dark mode too.

As per your query, we would request you to please disable/ removed running apps from background by following the below given steps.

Path : 1. Go to Settings > Apps, select the app from the list, and tap App battery usage.
2. Then, tap Force stop to shut it down, or switch off Allow background usage to prevent background activity.
3. To see apps running in the background, go to Settings > System > Developer options > Running services.
