Connect to 5ghz

Have a Samsung a12 and it states it support both 2.4 & 5ghz.hpwever i can't connect it to the 5g.i went onto my bt hub &on the WiFi it shows my phone is connected to the 2.4 but I don't know how to change it to the 5. There is no option please help

I think not supporting 5Ghz WiFi networks is an important anti feature even for a cheap device and should be showed as a warning on the specs page. I'm returning this phone.

Please bring your device to a Samsung Service Center to have it checked out my a technician and help resolve the issue. 

Find the nearest service center near you online, or on Samsung.com, or by calling the call center or passing by one of the Samsung brand stores.

Hi. What about this please? State 5Ghz supported, but at least can't  see the 5Ghz network . Bought from Tesco UK . Could be a **bleep** phone?  . Thanks
