I am writing to bring to your attention a significant privacy concern affecting users of Samsung smartphones, particularly in relation to the "Wallpaper and Style" feature accessible from the home screen.

When a user long-presses on the home screen, the "Wallpaper and Style" section appears. Upon selecting "Change Wallpaper," the device displays a grid-like preview of personal photos and videos stored in the gallery. Alarmingly, this preview is accessible without any biometric authentication such as fingerprint or password, even when the gallery app itself is otherwise protected by such security measures.

This loophole presents a serious threat to user privacy. In scenarios where a third party temporarily accesses the phone—intentionally or unintentionally—they are able to view the content of the gallery without passing through the intended security barriers. This undermines the very purpose of locking sensitive applications or content within the device.

Therefore, I respectfully urge the development team to address this vulnerability with due priority. It is strongly recommended that access to gallery content through the wallpaper selection interface also require the same level of authentication (e.g., fingerprint, PIN, or password) as the gallery app itself. This added layer of security will ensure that personal media remains confidential and inaccessible to unauthorized users under all circumstances.
