I am using bixby routine in my A52 5G for quite a while now and I like it. However I wish the developers add some essential features that are lacking. For e.g :
1) There should be an option for Activity Monitoring for instance walking, cycling, in Vehicle detection etc. using GPS, Accelerometer or other sensors, so that users can set routines based on these triggers. Such feature is already available in Tasker and Macdroid, and should be included in Bixby. The current Driving mode present as a trigger is a joke. It only works if connected to car bluetooth music system.
2) Location service should be improved and there should be option to select Cell Tower as well as GPS for detecting precise location.
3) There should be an option to detect Bluetooth strength of paired device, just like Wifi Strength based trigger.
4) At present there is no native option in bixby routine to play a particular ringtone or notification sound based on an event. User can only play music via an app based on certain trigger. I think there such option to play a ringtone or any other sound.
5) Bixby routine should be better integrated with Spotify. For instance there should be option to play user created playlists in Spotify.
These are some of the features which should be included in Bixby to make it at par with other Automation apps.
3rd party solutions always offer much more functionality than stock solutions. If you have used Tasker/ Macrodroid, you'll find that stock solutions would be grossly inadequate.
I agree.. but I want to use the stock solution rather than using third party apps. That's why I am asking the developers to include some of the best features of other automation apps into bixby
