Galaxy AI bought the A53 2weeks ago and really I would love to go back to my previous Huawei. This batter after taking the phone from the charger after night in 15min is 86%! That's ridiculous as you provide information is up to two days battery life. Optimization and tips like that doesn't help at all.
I wish I could return this device.

Galaxy AHello, I see that you, like me, faced the problem of self-discharge of the a53 battery in standby mode, when neither programs, geolocation, nor mobile Internet work, nothing!! And the phone loses about 15% of its battery overnight. I, like most people who want to clarify this issue, wrote to Samsung support, talked to managers at Samsung Members, looked for answers to my question on the Internet, and in addition to "banal recommendations for grandmothers" in the form of "turn off nfs, bluetooth, delete applications blah blah blah .. ." I didn't hear anything!!! I didn't find out quickly what the problem really was, but I found out - the problem is in the radio module or its firmware. Now more precisely - the phone consumes a lot of battery when the mobile network settings say 5G/4g/3g/2g or 4g/3g/2g or 3g/2g or 3g, when we turn on only 2g - our problem disappears, the phone will not eat a single percent overnight - check for yourself . Will you tell me that I have a bad mobile connection?? I live in Ukraine, and yes, we are currently experiencing outages due to the war, but it's the outages, not the constant bad connection that's causing the discharge. Moreover, my Asus and Xiaomi phones work perfectly in 3G networks and above in my conditions. Moreover, I see such applications with the problem of users of large cities in European countries, where the connection is great, but their Samsung A53 discharges just like that... Which suggests that the A53 really has either an error in the programming of the radio modules (higher than 2g), or bad gluttonous radio modules 3g and higher, which do not know how to rationally use the battery charge. (I repeat, when only 2g is turned on, there are no problems with the phone, the battery does not discharge by itself).
But I think walking only with 2g is not an option, is it? for calls - you can still put up with it, but the Internet??? You have to manually switch 2g to the voracious 3g or 3g/2g or 4g/3g/2g or 5G/4g/3g/2g when you need mobile internet. I hope that this issue will be raised somehow, will be taken into account by the necessary employees - CHECK and it will be resolved.
What can I say for myself - dear users, as far as I can see, you will not get anything here except a bot's answer or "banal recommendations for grandmothers". If you need to save charge - use my lifehack. It works 100%. I will wait for a software update, or the device will be updated to another brand if Samsung will leave us alone with this problem.. Any questions? waiting for you on my mail sergiy.barabash333@gmail.com))) Saaaaamsuuuuuung, hear us, we really have a problem!!!)))

Galaxy AHi. I am glad I found this thread as I am experiencing the same issue in March of 2023 and it has not been resolved by Samsung. In fact, when I speak to Samsung Support they act like it is not an issue or unaware of it. They could have told me it was a known issue instead I went to the trouble of travelling to a repair shop twice and then shipping my phone off to Samsung for "repairs" which did nothing for the battery drain issue. This issue is incredible since I hardly use my phone and it drains 50% in one day even if I turn off Wifi, Data, Bluetooth and put apps to sleep and turn on Power Saver. The 15% drop went turning it on in the morning is insane. My phone before this was an LG Charge and the battery would like for over a week. It sipped power in 4G in with using it much much more on occasions. I don't think I would feel comfortable going on an all day hike in a desolate area and trust this phone to help me navigate back to civilization.
I can't believe that they have just let this issue sit out there. I guess I need to find a new cell company to get a phone from.
Sergey, on the year anniversary of the Russian Invasion of Ukraine, I wish you well. Stay safe.
