It's normal. New software takes few days to get customized with hardware.

Got #A50 few days back. Battery drains like anything. For normal usage i have to charge the device in the morning as well as in the evening.

Samsung plz do something abt it as it has got 4000mah battery but performance is like 2000mah battery

Things have become worse since the yesterday's April update sadly...my friend's honor 8x is giving me a run for the money in terms of battery life, even though  I got the bigger pack here :(

I've been using A50 for 1 week now. I tried resetting it once, then waited for it to calibrate itself. But that doesn't seem to be working. So as another method, I'm trying gonna try and use the device until it switches itself off so as to reset it's battery calibration and see if it helps. I'll update the results after I do the same. The phone is butter smooth for me though. Truly feels like a premium phone. But the only problem is the battery drain. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon either via my method or via an update.

yes. doing so did help with battery optimization. But just to be sure, I went to the repair store and flashed the ROM officially. and now, at the end of the day, or to be more precise, at 2AM, I struggle to reduce the battery percent with like 30% left. and that's including 1-2 hours of gameplay (PUBG😜). The camera performance also increased drastically. so I'd suggest having some patience. but if not, go flash your device officially from a service center and then enjoy. BTW if you use your device while charging, you'll loose charge immediately. so I'd suggest charging once and using till the battery drops down significantly, and then charging it in one stretch to get the most battery life

I'd suggest draining your battery completely and then charging it with fast charge disabled. there's an option to disable fast charge in the notification. and then let it charge for 6-8 hours over night preferably. you'll notice the battery starting to hold more charge than it usually did. you can turn on the fast charge from the next time you wanna charge. Please do let me know if this works for you.
