My Galaxy A7 2018 after January security patch update , drain Battery fast, what can i do now?  

 Factory data reset done but problem not solved

Generally this happens with the security patch updates with most of the smartphones, only thing you can do is to try to report this problem to the samsung developers to fix this issue. share the screenshots (proof) of the battery usage to be more elaborate.

Try "Get Help" menu on the bottom in the main menu of this application

wait for next update..till then restrict background data usage
put unused apps to immediate sleep mode
use dark themes/wallpapers
turn off wifi/bluetooth/NFC(if it's available in your device) when these are not required
turn off auto sync(especially your backup mail account)
keep brightness in between 40-50%

just give a try..

Hi there,


If you factory reset your device and issue still exists, kindly send device log file within 15 minutes of issue occurrence along with the exact issue details using Samsung Member Application i.e. Samsung Member Application > click on + icon > send feedback > error report > collect log files > attach.
