Feature: Battery protection πŸ”‹ πŸ›‘️

Major Issue:
Even though, I have TURNED ONBattery Protection and set it toMAXIMUM (80%).

The phone is still charging ⚑!
Even-After reaching 80% !

β€’ Battery Protection feature is supposed tostop the charging after the battery level reaches to80% (or, to the set limit; here it's 80%), Right?

β€’ But it didn't, It continued charging till 100%

β€’ My phone is now at 100% charge, even though I have Battery protection ON and set to MAXIMUM (80%)!

Demo video:
Live Video of the issue (Captured Today, 01-8-2025)

β€’β€’ This issue is happening since I have updated my phone to ONE UI 7.

β€’β€’ Since then, I've recieved two updates (Patches), but none of them fixed the issues.

β€’β€’ Send Device logs along with Pictures, Videos - of the issue- to @Samsung.

β€’β€’ To fix these issues, Yesterday, I RESET my phone, but the issues are still there!

β€’β€’ Only a Healthy Software Update can FIX these issues.

β€’β€’β€’ @SAMSUNG , WHAT ARE YOU DOING? THE FEATURES WHICH ARE SUPPOSED TO FIX ISSUES ARE CREATING ISSUES!

-------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------

⚜️ Guidelines/steps to determine, if your phone is facing these issues or not:

1. Set Battery protection to Maximum: 80%
2. Then charge it upto 80%
3. The phone should show a notification (or in Device care app) that it "Charging stopped to protect your battery

4. Unplug it andafter 5 seconds plug it again..
5. Then wait for 10 minutes.. and see if it charge the battery from 80% to 81% (or more), or not.
6. If, it charge to 81% (or more), then congratulations! You're a victim too.
If not, check again.

Bro this looks like a problem with your charger for sure ensure that both adaptor and cable are original and a 25w charger with samsungs c to c cable because my Galaxy A34 won't take this long to charge 1% it will charger about 5 to 6% in these minutes which you shown in your video i think you can better try with these original specs even though it seems original outside check whether its samsungs or any other scam if not you can reset your phone one time to delete any bugs related to that because I never faced these problems at all especially your phone taking toooo much time to charge 1% of battery about 2 to 3 minutes only 1% charged?? That not a ideal charge time

1. Bought both adaptors and One cable from Samsung shop (online & genuine) , the other cable came with the phone (A34)... So, all the adapters and cables are genuine.

2.
(i) After 80%, the phone charge a bit slower... &
(ii) The brightness of the phone was at about 60% ... &
(iii) Screen recorder was running (consuming power)
- hence charging time is not as fast as it usually should.

3. Had Reset the phone on 31 July ... to fix the issue, and after that on 1st August.. made this post .. (i.e. issue is still there even after the RESET).

Try this:

1. Set Battery protection to Maximum: 80%

2. Then charge it upto 80%

3. When battery level is 80%. The phone should show a notification (or in Device care app) that : " Charging stopped to protect your battery"

4. Unplug it and wait for '5 seconds' & then plug it again.. (at this time battery level should be atleast 80%)

5. Then wait for 10 minutes.. and see if it charge the battery from 80% to 81% (or more), or not.
