Android 11-based One UI 3.1 for A71

This is totally based on my personal experience. If you're facing issue comment below. 

1. UI improvements :

UI is totally fabulously working. After updating during the initial phase I was facing some lag or you can say jittery -ness. But after sometimes it became smooth. 

A lot of improvements in UI performance can be seen. 

Notification toggle is looking great.

But no google page on the home page.

2. Display:

No major changes in Display in color. Blue light filter renamed as eye comfort shield.

3. Battery and Charging:

I don't know what is wrong with Samsung. Previously the normal usage backup was good but the in standby backup , the battery was draining fast. About 10-15% at night. In charging, there was no issue. 

After this major update I'm getting standby backup Good like it drains about 3-4% at night. But the normal usage backup is totally worst. Battery is draining too much faster than before. Charging become slow. Before it used to take about 1 hour 20 minutes to get fully charged from 20% battery. But now it's taking 1hour 35 minutes almost to do the same task.

4. Camera:

No major changes in camera. 

No 60 fps recording feature. 

No switching camera option while recording video.

No increase in shutterspeed 

No pro video option 

5. Performance:

Performance is almost same like before. No changes observed. 

6. RAM management:

RAM management become bad with this update. Before RAM used to consume at least 2.9- 3.8 GB but now it's consuming 4.5-5GB.

7. Bloatwares:

Samsung is doing wrong with us. There was no customization option after the update whether I want to install any app or not. But they forcefully push the "CRED" app. I personally don't like it.

8. Gallery:

Editing options are too much restricted. No object removal option. 

9. Overall summary:

There are no such major changes major changes after this large major update. Only some visual changes and minor additions.

sama juga di a71 saya juga gak bisa buka,, padahal uda di instal ulang gamenya, tapi tetep gak bisa dibuka.

so bad update in a71, just like a other tripical cheap midrange phone after long time update less, Samsung initially ignore this mobile for focusing to a72, a52,

1.UI is pretty smooth, better than one ui 2.5

2. About battery life, still not good but there is some improvement comparing to one ui 2.5. I have been monitoring the battery drain stats for about a week using Accu Battery, here what i get:

Screen on: -8~10% per hour with 480mA discharge (average 9.6%/hour discharge)

screen off: average around -1.5 per hour (60 to 70++mA discharge)

estimated battery life shown on Device Care: 1 day 2 hrs (similar result as i monitored on AccuBattery)

So, the thing is the battery comes with 4500mAh but acts like around 3300+- mAh, but still manageable to get average 7 hrs SOT+ for one day use. (If idle time is longer than sure the SOT will be lesser.) 

Overall, what can i said on my A71, love and hate.

Awesome screen

Awesome Camera (for me is good enough)

Short lasting battery life (lol)

 P.S. i am not a gamer, just used for FB, instagram, youtube and some working stuff

Great some of same your observation. Very bad customization with sd730 than sd720g. Samsung not fully utilized processes capacity in phone initially. Less features update always.
