A9 Camera pictures blurry after Android 10 - One UI 2 update install

Hello,

After updating my phone (A9) to One UI 2 (Android 10).

Normal camera is not able to clear shots. Camera pictures are blurry from top-right and bottom-left corners.

The auto-focus only focusses the centre portion of the picture.

Wide-angle picture are clicking okay. Only the problem with Normal camera.

How can I fix this?

I tried to restart the phone multiple times, reset the camera settings. But it did not solve the issue.

if its urgent use cam scanner for scanning documents.. also which mode did you click pictures in? this is silly but check once that you are not clicking in food mode or live focus mode..

I'm an IT engineer, I have already all the options.

Even CamScanner apps are NOT able to capture clear focussed picture.

And offcourse it is not in food mode or live focus. The mode is simple Photo mode with normal camera (1.0x).

Offcourse I need camera for scanning documents Or clicking photos. But it is blurr for both.

In example, I posted a blurr picture of a document to show the blurry-ness clearly.

so even if 3rd party apps are not working properly then its a hardware issue.. if it was a software issue it should have been widespread and not only limited to your device.. i guess IT engineer should have known that..

I think I have the same problem here. With a normal camera is just hard to take a clear picture, its in 95% cases blurry. Also, it's hard to focus, focus disappears from the place a touch and it gets only blurry. Wide camera is better but it's not a solution for a normal distance picture.

Kindly follow the below mentioned step to improve the performance of the device:

Check device in safe mode:-

Enter safe mode: Press and hold the Power key, when Power off icon appears.>Press and hold the power off icon.

Exist safe mode: Press volume down and power key simultaneously for 5 seconds to restart the device.

Note: If your device functions correctly in Safe Mode, it is most likely that the issue lies with a 3rd party application that can be uninstalled to resolve the problem

For further assistance, register your concern in Samsung Members Application (Open Samsung Members Application> send feedback > error report/ask questions).

Hey Samsung Team,

I have Samsung Galaxy A30. I have used the safe mode but Normal camera is still not able to take  clear shots. Camera pictures are blurry from top-right and bottom-left corners.

Its the trust on Samsung which have stopped us from not changing our phone.

Do something regarding this.

i have the same phone with the same issue , it happened as soon as i downloaded one of the software updates last year and the normal camera will never focus unless im really close to the object , all of the other cameras are working fine , i tried the safe mode method , clearing chase of the camera app and i even factory reset my phone and if it never worked .

i have the same issue with samsung a9, how do you resolve it?

i have tried the check safe mode, but still the camera picture are blurry...

I am having the same problem since last update around november/2020.

I tried to use other apps, wiped cache, reinstalled apps,  reseted configurations e even did a factory reset. But the persists.

As our friend mentioned above, 95% of pictures are blury.

Only the front camera works (selfie).

Anyone could provide a solution for this?
