A7 (2018) update to Android 10 broke mobile connectivity.

One of my friends updated hi A7 (2018) model to Android 10 version today. After the update phone is not showing any mobile network option and it is not registering on any network. Whole basic phone feature is affected. Any reason or quick fix to get rhebphone back to service

Did you updated from official update or downloaded through any 3rd party websites and apps ?

It was an official update from Samsung delivered OTA.

The upgrade somehow corrupted the SIM. After replacing it with a new SIM network connectivity was restored.
