I mean, that's not a false promise. The news was already leaked and was under speculations, and now it has been confirmed. Don't go around saying that it is a false news of you don't know about it.

Rumors were all over Twitter a few months ago. And this is not Samsung's customer support that they will say whatever they like, no. This is Samsung's social media marketing team, they cannot make false claims because they can get sued for false marketing. A53 and A73 are already getting 4 years of OS updates, and now they confirmed that even A52s will be getting, and I am not sure, but most likely A52 will also be getting 4 major updates.
Another thing, even if it were a mistake, now they have to provide 4 updates because the tweet has spread and they cannot go back.
