Samsung promised Knox security for A32. However, it doesn't even have "Secure Startup" option where phone requires PIN to boot.

A32 also doesn't show its model name while booting up.

As per Google's new policy, Secure Startup has been disabled; this at least is the case with the S series smartphones.

My S9 had the Secure Startup feature; my new S20 FE doesn't have it.

I think they started that trend with S21 series 🤔

Possibly, with the smartphones manufactured in 2021. I checked my mum's M21 (2021) and the model number is not displayed on startup.

By the way, are you using an A32? If you're in Bombay and want an excellent Skinomi matte finish screen protector, please read my other post and send a DM if you're interested.

Thanks and regards.

M21 shows model name. I have one. BTW, not interested in your offer.

It's not even official notification. Samsung Support didn't acknowledge such policies; they rather said to be working on it.

If it's policy, that'd be a shame. Security is priority.
