More like your data is under attack. Good post though but still I don't think that they will target the general public, if I'm not wrong it was only used against high profile targets like activists and journalists here in India

I don't know from where you got that figure of 4.8 Lakhs of Indian users affected by this because WhatsApp and Facebook have been silent on it since the attacks.
