Like Apple policy, Samsung is also trying to show that old phone's performance is bad than newly released phone's. 

 Samsung is also trying to reduce the performance of all its old flagship phones

(1) Reduce battery performance 

(2) Reduce hardware performance 

(3) Reduce software performance

(4) Reduce camera performance 

(5) Reduce sound performance 

(6) Close all hardware for older phone's

(7) Close all support for older phone timely way

Samsung A31 needs the following optimizations in the very next update:

1) Should include TIMELAPSE, NIGHT MODE, SLOW-MOTION in Camera.

2) Battery consumption should be optimized.

3) Glitching problem after opening the camera app.

4) Should resolve the heating issues.

5) Sometimes UI is getting lagged.

6) Manual focus in Pro mode.
