Samsung has officially blocked the "loophole" that allowed third-party apps to install custom fonts.
According to reports and official security bulletins from March/April 2026, this change is being rolled out with One UI 8.5 and the latest security patches!!

Please be advised that after updating to One UI 8.5, the system will restrict the ability to change custom fonts. If you wish to use a specific font, you must apply it now while on the current version One UI 8.0!

Once the update is installed, your chosen font will remain permanent, and you will not be able to switch to a different custom font easily. Make sure to select and set your preferred font today to ensure it stays active after the rollout!

* Any font purchased or downloaded directly from the Galaxy Store Still Works ✓

I had already set my font, look 👇🏼 my custom Samsung font didn't change after april security patch. Just updated >.<!

You can no longer install it until zfont developers fix the problem
