Single Take

Options

We have spruced up Single Take by adding two functions so that you do not miss any moment when filming.

The first is a time machine feature.

It saves up to 5 seconds of video before the user presses the record button, providing an experience of going back to the past on a time machine and enjoying moments that were not captured during shooting.

In other words, it means saving unexpected and interesting scenes while preparing to record.

For comparison, we will film at the same time as the current Galaxy S24 model.

The following is a screen recording taken at the time of filming.

In Galaxy S25, which has the time machine feature, there is animation displayed around the record button.

This means that the scenes before pressing the record button are being recorded in advance. (It saves the most recent video for up to 5 seconds.)

This is the original video that was actually saved.

Compared to the original video taken in Galaxy S24, the moments before pressing the record button is stored in the original video to provide a better appreciation experience.

For users who want to shoot with the existing single take without the time machine function, we have added the On/Off option at the top of the screen, so you can use it according to your preferences. (It is turned On by default.)

The second one is a snapshot feature.

Single take mode supports shooting for up to 20 seconds, and snapshots can be taken at any time the user wants while shooting.

As you can see in the screenshot, you can make screen captures using the snapshot button during shooting and check it in the Gallery's Single Take outcome window.
