Single Take has been freshly spruced up for you to take cute and lovely shots of your pet cats and dogs. All you have to do is simply face the camera towards your adorable puppy, press the record button in single take mode, and it will capture your pet’s fascinating poses and shenanigans, and compile their special moments into a video.
Previously, only 1x was offered but the Galaxy S24 offers lens options of 0.6x/1x/2x/3x/5x/10x so you can take your pick before filming. Take a 2x or 3x zoom shot of your dog running around in the distance. *2x can be added with the Camera Assistant – "Crop Zoom Button" option.

Depending on the lighting or subject, Single Take previously provided a minimum of 2 outputs (original video, fast-forward video), but starting from the Galaxy S24, it provides at least 4 (original video, boomerang, best photo, and crop photo).
Now you can get more diverse and interesting photo and video results through Single Take.
While the Galaxy S23 provided the best cut photo by recognizing human movements and facial expressions, the Galaxy S24 recognizes not only humans’ but also pet’s movements in real time. It can detect up to 8 pet movements such as *jumping, sitting, running, walking, opening mouth, and front, left and right profiles, and automatically creates pictures of their best moments and four-cut collages. It also recognizes poses such as pet jumps to create slow-motion videos or highlight videos that are great for posting on social media.
Lastly, in the past, you had to swipe up and down the screen after shooting to view the result, but the S24 provides a left and right swipe viewer method, greatly increasing the usability of the viewing experience. When you push up the content you want, you can easily check its details and edit each piece in the photo editor or video editor.
