BengaluruSubject: Software Flaw/Feedback: Call Screening is customizable, but Direct Voicemail is locked to a bad AI voice on Galaxy S24 FE
Dear Samsung Support and One UI Development Team,
I am writing to point out a major inconsistency in the One UI user experience on my Samsung Galaxy S24 FE.
Samsung provides an incredible mobile experience with far more features and customization options compared to the iPhone. However, the lack of voice options in the new Direct Voicemail feature is a massive oversight.
Right now on my phone, Call Screening (Text Call) is fully customizable—I can change the language, download different voice packs, and even use Bixby's Custom Voice Creator to clone my voice. But Direct Voicemail is completely locked. When I don't pick up a call, the system routes the caller to an unrealistic, robotic, and unnatural default voice that cannot be changed.
Missing the step to make Direct Voicemail customizable—while already having the perfect technology active inside Call Screening—is a very bad user experience.
Please release a necessary update to fix this system gap:
- Bring the exact same voice customization options from Call Screening over to Direct Voicemail.
- Allow Direct Voicemail to use our own voice recordings or Bixby voice packs.
- Let the system use our Bixby Cloned Voice so callers hear a natural, realistic voice when we miss a call.
Samsung is the leader in mobile AI; please do not let a rigid, unchangeable robot voice ruin a premium feature. Please push an update to fix this.
Thank you,
[Bhyrava]
