My new samsung A15 doesn't have an AOD option, the phone has an amoled screen. One of the main reasons for buying this phone was for AOD. Now its not there.Third party apps work like trash.
I wonder what the probable reason can be for not giving this feature.
The store is not accepting my phone return.They say there is nothing they can do.
Any tips that can help me return the phone?

Edit: I learnt about somethings called variable refresh rate, screen burning etc.So basically the panel of A15 is not good enough to have AOD while optimising the battery and avoiding screen burn. lol
Lol. That hardware excuse is just a **bleep** they give to hide their money eating tactics. Actually, over the time, their policy has became like "pay more to get features". 🤣 So yeah, they intentionally remove features from phones that aren't expensive. A15 can have AOD easily, I already added it and it works flawlessly. So, the only way for you to do that is root your device and replace the clock package apk from system folder with the AOD Service apk and then add Aod feature enable lines in csc features.xml in system/etc folder. That's it. But again, I won't recommend doing that as rooting voids your warranty and if you're doing it for first time, you'll mess up up most probably, even brick your device...lol 🤣 So try ONLY once you're fully educated about it and know what you're doing. 😂😂
