I have Samsung Galaxy watch 6. Couple of days ago I have received an update for my Galaxy Watch 6. I update my watch and since then the watch is not detecting my wrist.

Hello. Can you go to Settings on your watch, then Security and privacy and then scroll down and enable Wrist detection if it isn't already enabled.

I use this device and everything's working ok after the last update. Please see attached screenshots.29 December 2024 002823 GTS_1000057315_1735417703.png29 December 2024 003001 GTS_1000057320_1735417802.png

Ok. My next suggestion is to run diagnostics. Select the Support tab in Samsung Members app, then select the Galaxy Watch and run the Wrist detection diagnostic function. See what it says. You can check the below steps to solve the issue with your watch:

Reboot your Samsung smart watch

Power off the watch, and then power it back on. While the watch is powered on, press and hold the Power key until "Rebooting..." is displayed.

Release the key(s), and then immediately press and release the Power key repeatedly to enter the Reboot Mode menu.

Allow Google Play service permissions

On your phone, navigate to and open Settings, and then tap Apps.
Swipe to and tap Google Play services, then tap Permissions.
Swipe to the Not allowed list, and then allow the permissions.

Unpair your Samsung smart watch from the phone

Navigate to Settings on the phone. Using the search bar at the top of Settings, search for and select Bluetooth. You can also tap Connections > Bluetooth.

Tap the Settings icon next to the watch you're trying to pair, and then tap Unpair. Now, try to pair the watch to the phone again using the Galaxy Wearable app.

I went to Samsung customer care I showed them the watch and told them about the problem I was facing they said to wait until the new update because this problem is due to the new ONE UI 6 update.

So you have to wait for the new update and they will fix this issue with the update.

They also tried to solve this issue and I also tried all the methods which everyone told me but still, the watch did not detect the wrist.

So maybe I have to wait for the update to fix this problem

Same problem for over 1 year now.
Extremely inconvenient. Needing to enter PIN several time a day (++).

Is Samsung aware, is Samsung working on this as all Watch updates pasted since the problem arose did not fix it.
