Yes I have downloaded from Play Store and it is working fine. You can access only messages....status u cannot see. I have attached one photo and it is of my watch

Go to galaxy wearable app>> Store 》either search for whatsapp or U will see whatsapp for wear OS on top which u can see in attached photos.

I installed and used. Many features such as message forwarding is not available. Moreover even small audio voice attachments could not be downloaded because downloading attachments super slow.
