The Fit 3, a budget-friendly smart band from Samsung, includes an impressive Offline Finding feature. This allows you to locate your device even when it’s disconnected. It works by connecting to nearby Samsung devices and updating the location through them.

You can effortlessly track your band’s current location via the SmartThings appwithout any manual activation or additional setup. Here’s how to use this feature:

1. Open the SmartThings App using your Samsung ID.

2. Tap the Devices button at the bottom row of the app.

3. Locate your device in the list and click on Find.

4. A map view will open, displaying the device's location along with some actionable settings.

Consider this only if you want to be in eco system. Such as mute call, alarm, or any kind of on going notification just by covering over the whole screen. No need to set up alarm manual to band (you can setup if u wish on "only band") otherwise it sync with phone arlams, mode and routine and even mute, silent all these small stuff sync to phone if you have Samsung band and smasung phone no need to setup separate. It have wear detection(will activate only when u wear it in terms of vibrating while recived a phone call or message). Notification Settings are same as phone's settings (sound or vibrates).

In one word u can consider if you like to be in eco system.
For update; there is no official statement I found about it. Till today I received only 3 since the purchased (from March).
