Hi all,




I have purchased samsung galaxy watch active 2 LTE version in January 2021 from authorized samsung store. Few weeks ago, I realized that the back cover which has the sensor came out by its own. There was no physical damage happened or any type of drop or wear and tear. The screws are still intact but the cover ends which hold the screws are very delicate and except one side, all other sides are missing the locks.I am attaching images for the reference.
I went to the service center with my concern but they adamant that it's a physical damage and cannot be covered under warranty. Morever they are saying that this might have happened due to water damage. Although I have never used this watch while swimming or bathing but yes I used to wear it whole day so it becomes very normal that it got it contact with sweat which ideally shouldn't be the issue because it's already water resistant and smart watches are meant to be worn for whole day( specially for those who are particular about their daily body workout routine).
This same issue has happaned with two of my friends as well. That is why I am considering it as a manufacturing defect or very low quality product provided by samsung.
I am requesting the samsung team to kindly understand the customer's concern here and procide the appropriate solution and consider my issue to be claimed under warranty. Being a part of samung community family and loyal samsung customer since 2012, I am expecting full support from samsung.
