I am not an Audiophile but I have used many TWS like the Budget one's, midrange one's and even the Flagship one's. I have been using the Samsung Buds Pro for almost 4 months with a Samsung Device and my experience was very good with these TWS. Let me divide this review into seperate divisions.
Design and Build Quality:-
The design of the Buds look good. They have a outer shiny surface and inner matte surface. I have picked the Phantom Black colour and they look good.
Coming to the fit and comfort it depends on your ears. I have seen many people complaining about the fit. But I never had an issue with them. They fit well in my ears. Initially I they were nit comfortable. But once I have changed the silicone eartips provided in the box, they fit perfectly. Now I amused to the fit and also I do workout while wearing them and they never fell off my ears.
Also the vents helped a lot in making the fit more comfortable.
Coming to the build quality they are solid. I accidentally dropped by right earbuds atleast 4 times and they never got damaged. As the outer surface comes with shiny glass coating, slight scratches are visible due to the great impact on them. Once I also dropped my case accidentally and it is also in perfect condition. It had no scratches and the hinge works perfectly.
The case comes with a matte black coating(Phantom Black version) and it looks dope. I think the coating will not come off soon.
The case comes with a magnetic hinge and the quality of the hinge is also good. On the outside of the case we can see a small battery indicator which tell you the case battery. Inside the case also there is a small battery indicator which shows the battery of the earbuds.
Sound Quality:-
Sound is completely subjective but if you ask me I like them.
They provide rich balanced sound and the bass is good and not overpowered which I like personally.
The instrument seperation is also good.
I could not test out the 360 Audio feature unfortunately as my device doesn't support 360 Audio.
As I am using with a Samsung Device I have the option of Scalable Codec and with this Codec also the sound quality is quite good. It is almost better then that of AAC and far better than SBC.
Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency Mode:-
Active Noise cancellation is good and filters out traffic noises, wind sounds.
Active Noise Cancellation has 2 levels:- Low and High. I can feel a difference between them.
Human sounds feel Muffled when ANC is turned on.
Transparency Mode has different levels:- Low, Medium , High, Very High
The Transparency mode feels natural in Low and Medium. It feels little artifical in High and Very high Settings.
Features and Customizations:-
These buds come with many features which I have not seen I other earbuds while buying them 4 months ago.
The main feature I like is the Voice Detect feature. In this feature when you are wearing both the earbuds and listening to music, and when you start talking to the person while wearing these earbuds, the volume of the earbuds decreases and it turns on the Transparency mode, so you could clearly hear the voice of the person you are talking with without removing the earburs. I have used this feature and it works everytime, so it is not a gimmick.
Also the earbuds comes with Equalizer Presets, Touch controls, and many more features.
With the edge tough you can control the volume of the earbuds making it unique from other pair of earbuds which lack volume control.
These also comes with Find My Earbuds so it plays a loud chirping sound which helps you to find your misplaced earbuds.
Final Verdict:-
These are a good pair of earbuds with many features and Pro Sound Quality.
