I have a Galaxy watch 4 and configured Samsung pay with pattern lock that is mandatory . Whenever I wear watch in morning I have to unlock it and then only it measures steps . Sometimes I forget to do so and have been walking for one hour . How to enable this in Galaxy Watch 4 with lock so that moment one wears it starts recording steps ?

Ugh, the whole unlocking thing with Samsung Pay on the Galaxy Watch 4 can be super annoying. Unfortunately, it’s one of those things where Samsung has made it mandatory to unlock the watch first if you're using certain features like Samsung Pay or when it’s locked for security. There's no built-in option to bypass unlocking the watch just to start tracking steps while keeping the lock enabled for Samsung Pay.
The only way around it would be to either:
Temporarily disable the lock: You could just turn off the pattern lock while using the watch for tracking steps, and then lock it when you're done.
Use Samsung Health without Samsung Pay: If you're okay with not using Samsung Pay for a while, you could remove the lock temporarily or disable it entirely, just so you can track steps without any hassle.
Unfortunately, Samsung's security restrictions are pretty tight, so there’s no clean way to have both security and automatic step tracking without that extra unlock step. It's a bit of a pain, to be honest.
