Dear Support Team, 

I am writing to bring to your attention an issue I have encountered with the camera of my recently purchased Samsung S24 Ultra.

I made this purchase on January 24, 2024, and have since noticed a significant problem when attempting to shift the camera from 3x zoom to 5x zoom. This issue appears to be a substantial bug within the camera's functionality, which is particularly concerning considering the flagship status of this device.

As a flagship product, it is disheartening to experience such major bugs that compromise the user experience. In light of this, I kindly request a replacement for the affected device.

I have attached a video for your reference, which clearly demonstrates the issue I am encountering.

Happening with me too , i just saw a post where a guy got his phone replaced , some are claiming its a mechnical fault

In the event that your phone was purchased within the last 14 days, you may visit the service center and request a Dead on Arrival (DOA) claim. Upon approval of the DOA and receipt of a later model, you may proceed to the original place of purchase. They will replace the phone with the later model.

I have contacted customer service, and they have suggested the following steps:

1. Visit the service center today.
2. File a complaint.
3. Obtain a DOA letter.

Today i went service center they are saying its not Hardware or sofware issue , its Normal with the device and while recording video there was no issue too , i dont know what to say , i tried 3 different demo device and even s23 Ultra all have kind of similar experience

I have confirmed with the relevant parties and can confirm that this is indeed the OIS lens, therefore it is functioning as intended.

As per your concern, we want to inform you that the Ultra-wide, Wide, and telecamera lenses are physically located in different positions, there is also a difference in view angle, similar to eye parallax.

Thus, changing the zoom ratio leads to a camera lens shift which in turn causes a subtle change in view angle. Also, when changing the zoom ratio quickly, the preview screen may appear slightly disconnected as it takes time to switch between the Ultra-wide, Wide, and telecamera lenses.

If you move the zoom slowly, the screen transition becomes smoother. If you have any further queries kindly feel free to get in touch with us.

Dude, are you serious? This is the default behavior? If that's the case, why is another S24 Ultra smoother than mine? And other Twitter users are posting about getting DOA devices too. I'm attaching a link so you can see for yourself. The showroom demo is smoother than my phone!

This second URL is showing the DOA approved. He has mentioned the after long run and fight Smasung finally agreed to approve DOA.

Now you guys are showing that we are not aware about the issue and we are keeping the phone as it is defective.

No way, we have lots of option to get it out from this matter and we will take resolution from you Guys.

Why are you trying to fool us? We're not stupid. If we can afford to buy such an expensive device, we can also expose you. Let's meet in consumer court if you don't give us a solution and I think that's the only option left

Please don't do this with customers. This is the new india and you can't make us fool ok.
