The Transcribe Assist feature on the Galaxy S24 enables users to record speech and create a transcription of what was said. Learn how to use the Transcribe Assist feature to make taking business minutes and other documents more convenient.
Note: At the time of release, 13 languages (17 regions) are supported; additional languages will be added in future updates.

Chinese Simplified, English (India, United Kingdom, United States), French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish (Mexico, Spain, United States), Thai, Vietnamese.
How to use Transcribe Assist feature
The Transcribe Assist feature is available through the Voice Recorder app.
Transcribe recordings into text
Step 1. Select the desired recording file.
Step 2. TapTranscribe.
Step 3. Select language > TapTranscribe.
Step 4. A transcription will be displayed.
Note: For an accurate transcription, the speaker must speak clearly and be close to the microphone.
Translate the transcribed text
Step 1. Select a transcribed recording file.
Step 2. Tap theTranslationicon.
Step 3. Choose language > TapTranslate.
Step 4. The translated text will be displayed beneath the original text.
* To change the language you want to translate to, select the target language at the top.
Note: You can also add languages fromSettings>Advanced features>Advanced intelligence>Voice Recorder.
Summarise the text transcript
Notes:
You must be logged in to your Samsung account to use the Summary feature.
If the recording is short, it cannot be summarised.
Step 1. Select a transcribed recording file.
Step 2. TapSummary.
Step 3. A summary, including keywords, will be displayed.
* You can also translate the summarised text by tapping the Translate icon.
Note: Due to the nature of AI, results and quality may vary each time.
