Please note: Galaxy Maintenance mode requires a lock screen pin or password before activation. If this is not activated, you will be prompted to setup a lock screen pin or password before being able to activate galaxy maintenance mode. You will also need the pin or password to unlock your device to deactivate Galaxy maintenance mode security.

Step 1. Tap Settings icon.

Step 3. Tap “Maintenance mode”.

Step 4. Tap “Turn on” to activate Maintenance mode.

Step 4. Tap “Restart” and your phone will restart to enter Maintenance mode.
Your phone will now create a system log to help the technician analyse any issues.
Please note: Once Maintenance mode is active your personal data cannot be accessed, and only pre-installed apps are available.

Step 1. Swipe down to open the notification bar at the top of the screen.

Step 2. Tap “Tap here to exit”.

Step 3. Tap “Exit”.

Step 4. Tap “Restart” and when prompted, verify your identity with your preferred method. Your phone will now restart and when complete, will be ready to use as normal.
