How to show Live Sports scores notification on Now bar in Galaxy devices

The Now bar in Galaxy devices is a convenient feature that allows users to access quick information and controls directly from their lock screen or notification panel. One of its useful functionalities is displaying Live scores for sports enthusiasts. Here’s how you can enable and use this feature:

Note: -

Step 1. Enable Now bar feature

To enable the Now bar feature, click here.

Step 2. Enable ‘Sports from Google’ function

1. Swipe down to access the notification panel

    

2. Tap on Settings

   

3. Tap on Lock screen and AOD

4. Then, tap on Now bar

    

5. Go to Live notifications section, tap on Sports from Google function

6. Toggle the switch to turn it ON*.

Note: *To see Sports from Google in the Now bar, you need to go to Sports from Google settings and follow teams or leagues. You also need to turn on Personalize Search and Web & App Activity.

 

Step 3. Check ‘Sports from Google settings’

7. Once you turn on the Sports from Google function, then tap on Sports from Google settings

   

8. A pop-up will be open to follow the teams and leagues

9. Follow the teams of your choice, then tap on Finish to complete process.

10. Live scores notifications will now appear on the Now bar on your lock screen.

Please note: The analysis of your device may take some time, depending on the sports currently in progress or being played.

Troubleshoot if Live Sports scores notifications not showing on Now bar

1. For Live notifications to appear for an app, Allow notifications,  Lock screen notifications and Show content on Lock screen must be turned on in the app’s notification settings.
2. The Now bar will only appear when you have an app open, and is displayed on the lock screen in real time while the app is running.
