I have HP 510 p053in desktop.
I bought samsung 860evo 1tb 2.5" sata hard disk.
I want to upgarde my pc hdd to ssd.
When i connect my ssd by sata and power cable it stuck with hp  logo and when i press ESC key to enter bios it still also stuck.
I cant open bios also.
With usb to sata cabel my pc detect the ssd like a external hard drive.
In my syster laptop ssd work fine.
What is the problem? I think my pc is not compatible with ssd.
But when i put another company ssd (HICKVISION C100 120 gb 2.5" sata ssd), the ssd work fine
Can u help me by telling me what is the problem

OK it supports both MBR and GPT.. Just a last step.. Open disk management in laptop and check ssd in GPT or MBR.
If it is in MBR convert to GPT, likewise if in GPT convert to MBR.. Then try again in pc.

No matter what disk initialized with MBR and ntfs definitely works. There is a chance of bios not detecting GPT drives. Even if it doesn't last step to check is to use it as primary drive in laptop. If laptop got boot issues then ssd has a problem.

Secondary drive through caddy works in laptop but not in pc? Ok i got it now. But even though try converting to mbr maybe your pc has legacy bios which doesn't support GPT drives.
If still doesn't work contact hp service as I think issue is not with ssd.. 🤔🤔

Open disk management.. Right click on ssd.. You get an options to convert to GPT if currently in MBR, convert to MBR if in GPT.
