Samsung policy is to provide 2 major (android update) and j8 got 2 major update

if u want to know.. which devices is going to update for android 11. just check my wall i've posted regarding ur question.. do check if ur device is listed in that names..

Galaxy J8 will not get Android 11 as well as One UI 3. Even Galaxy J8 isn't listed in the list of eligible devices. Check notices section of Samsung members.
