Hi guys i just wanted to ask why i cant my mobile as hotspot while being connected to a wifi. ActuallyI did not want to share my home wifi with a person so i asked him to connect to my mobile hotapot.....But apparently i cant do it. Only one can work at one time...either wifi or mobile hotspot !!!
You can share your Wifi... . Go to Device Settings > Connections > Mobile Hotspot and Tethering > Click on "Mobile Hotspot" text > Configure > Advanced > at the bottom you should see WiFi Sharing, Turn than ON and press Save. . Now when you are connected to your Home WiFi and turn your phone's hotspot ON, the other person will need your phone's hotspot password and not your home wifi password. Thus you can share the internet without sharing your home wifi password.
