Tech Talk1. RAM (Random Access Memory)
- This is the "mind" or *temporary memory of the mobile. -
The apps, games or tasks that are running while the mobile is on are kept here.
- For example, if you open many apps at once, the larger the RAM, the faster the mobile can handle them.
- When you turn off the mobile, all the information in the RAM is deleted.
2. ROM (Read-Only Memory)
- This is the *permanent memory or storage of the mobile, where you save pictures, videos, app installations, data.
- This is a type of memory that saves data, the data is not deleted even if the mobile is turned off.
- Sometimes also called “Internal Storage”.
In short:
- *RAM* = temporary memory to run the mobile (essential for speed and multitasking).
- *ROM* = Permanent memory for storing data (your pictures, videos, apps all live here).

Tech Talk1. RAM (Random Access Memory)
Volatile, fast
Runs apps and processes
Not user-accessible
2. ROM (Read-Only Memory)
Non-volatile, fixed
Stores firmware and bootloader
Not for user data
3. Internal Storage (Flash Memory)
Non-volatile, user-accessible
Stores apps, files, OS
eMMC or UFS (faster)
4. Cache Memory
Volatile, ultra-fast
Built into CPU
Speeds up processing
5. External Storage (microSD)
Non-volatile, user-expandable
Stores photos, videos, documents
Slower than internal storage
Each type serves a unique role to ensure efficient performance and data handling in mobile devices.
Technically, Internal Storage is NOT ROM
