Wasted screen space?

After updating my S10+ to One UI2 I noticed that there is a lot of wasted screen space below the keyboard. See picture below. I tried resizing the keyboard but it does not help. Please fix.

Bro, disable show button to hide keyboard and then check..

Does not help much. only the keyboard icon on the keyboard disappears and a few millimeter is gained.

solved the keyboard space issue.
(a) apply the solution shown by Sidhabhi
(b) then use method shown by me in the picture.

the extra wasted space will be gone.

Samsung S22 Ultra.  No 'hide button' option on this one. But editing the keyboard works. Moving it down does not initially work. But once you move it up - then you get the option to move it all the way down. Thanks.
