Every browser comes with the ability for users to browse anonymously called incognito mode, secret mode or private mode.

Anonymous browsing in Samsung Internet is called Secret mode, while in Google Chrome it's incognito browsing.

To keep the browsing activity secret the two browsers let users lock secret/incognito mode.

Enable biometrics for incognito browsing in Google Chrome

Open Chrome on smartphone or tablet and open its settings. Tap Privacy and security to see all security features and there will be an option that says Lock Incognito tabs when leave Chrome. Tap it once to enable it, after which user will be asked to authenticate with fingerprint to confirm. If a pattern or pin is used to lock smartphone or tablet, user will be asked to enter those to authenticate.

Enable biometrics in Samsung Internet’s Secret mode

Unlike Google Chrome, Samsung Internet requires a unique password for Secret mode that isn’t related to the password that user may have set for locking phone or tablet, and only after adding so user will get to use biometric options like face recognition and fingerprints.

Open Samsung Internet and access it's settings. Tap Personal browsing data, followed by Secret mode settings. Then, enable the Use password option.

User will be asked to create a new password that includes at least four letters and a number. Add the password, tap continue, enter the same password again for confirmation and press OK. Once done user will get the options Face and Fingerprint at the bottom. User can enable either or both – user will need to enter the password user set earlier for doing so.
