Unable to open videos in video player

I am not getting option to click whivh will open the video in video player. It has to be opened with " open with video player " option. This is ridiculous

Why? You can open with video player..can you share screenshots of error you are facing?

Direct video play option from Gallery has been removed>you have to click 3 dots and select open with video player

That I what u don't want to do. I want that previous playback option..it is irritating to go and click three dots for this..
