Sally also highlighted that the company’s software team wanted to perfectly optimize each aspect in One UI 7, be it a feature, a user interface component, or animations for optimal experience.
Beyond that, Samsung’s software team has also reportedly worked with Google since the beginning. It is aimed that AI features work seamlessly across Google and Samsung apps, and Gemini Extensions is the proof.
Well, Sally didn’t specifically mention the delay in rollout but indirectly addressed that the software is centered on consumer convenience. And yet, a tentative One UI 7 rollout timeline remains yet to be announced.
Sally, Samsung MX’s EVP and Head of the Framework R&D Team said:
“Meanwhile, for One UI 7, we took a slightly different approach. Usually, UI updates are done every year. However, for this version, we wanted to make a big breakthrough, which required careful planning since two to three years before the project started. We wanted to create something more impactful, and this longer preparation time allowed us to make significant improvements.
This comprehensive process ensures that every feature, even the seemingly small ones, is truly tailored to the user’s needs and provides an optimal experience.”
