Today I attempted to use the Flybuys app on my Samsung phone. To get in, I was offered no choice but to set a pin and scan my fingerprint. That's outrageous overreach. Darkly authoritarian and completely unacceptable. What business is it of Samsung's to intrude this way into my private affairs?
Needless to say I conducted my business and then deleted the fingerprint and pin. This Samsung phone will be the last I will ever buy if this how you think you can conduct your business. I think even fascist and communist dictatorships are less intrusive.
