Samsung with the One UI 7 introduced one of the impressive features called Now Bar, which is expected to get the support of Gemini Live with the stable version.
Samsung offered dozens of new features and improvements with One UI 7, including Now Bar. It is a pill-shaped feature that offers quick access to information and controls without even opening the particular applications, and it also includes live notifications and health tracking data.
Now a new report from Android Authority suggests that Samsung could integrate Gemini Live into the NowBar. Google is working on phone-call-style controls for Gemini Live, including “hang up” and “hold” buttons to control ongoing chats without digging into the applications, which could permit Samsung to integrate Gemini Live into One UI 7’s Now Bar.
According to the report, the spotted “code fragments” hint at the ongoing development of this function. When available, Galaxy users should be able to resume their Gemini Live conversations through Now Bar. Noticeably, the tool already supports stacking, which lets you swipe between multiple live tasks. Gemini Live integration is highly anticipated to make the Now Bar more convenient.
Although, for now, there’s no confirmed word regarding this, it seems that Samsung and Google might be able to make it happen with the stable One UI 7 version.
