Tech TalkSamsung Exynos 2600!
Spread the love
Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S series, the S25, is expected to reach the podium on 22nd January, 2025, in the famous Galaxy Unpacked hostings. While it’s almost clarified that the company’s upcoming Galaxy S25 models are to be powered with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and not Exynos 2500, there are more logical reports that further confirm that the Galaxy S26 series could make way for Exynos 2600’s arrival.
Although the in-house Exynos 2500 was booked for the next-generation Galaxy S25 series smartphones, Samsung has to ditch the chipset due to the production delay, and hence, the entire S25 models will feature Snapdragon 8 Elite chipsets.
Simultaneously, the company might take the in-house and next Exynos 2600 as its first preference for the future Galaxy S26 series models, and several logical reports suggest so. First up, the biggest blow for Samsung was to lose the bid for the orders of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chips, even after being the largest producer of Qualcomm chips. As a result, the mass production of 8 Elite 2 processors is handed over to TSMC.
Alternatively, another aspect would be the rumors of Samsung’s book-style Galaxy Z Flip 7 being powered with an Exynos chip. Also, another report further mentioned that Samsung’s foundry division could lead TSMC by manufacturing 2nm process-based chipsets, while if these reports are to be believed, then the key highlight will be the execution of 2nm process techniques, and Exynos 2600 arriving in 2026 could be based on 2nm process technology and may power the Galaxy S26 series.
For now, Samsung is preparing to launch the next generation Galaxy S25 series next year, while several leaks and rumors have already been building excitement among the Galaxy audience. Overall, it’s clear that Samsung will introduce the new Galaxy S series models with several amazing features.

2nm foundry in S26 is good, then Exyonos withbits previous reputation made it worse.
They better provide user replaceable battery in S26 series as a feature. To #Make Samsung Great Again 😊
Rest camera improvements to latest Chinese brands set standards in 2025 as tehy surpassed hardware specs.
Also, Samsung better give user replaceable battery than iPhone 18 series or at the least bring back from A17,A37 series.
I don't think A57 will survive due to recent price hike and better VFM devices at the segment. They might reduce prices of Fe series to A5x.
